Annie Oakley Adopted!
Sweet little Annie is Pit Crew Pit Bull Rescue's newest Adopted Rescue!
This poor sweet girl is in need of help. Annie was found tethered to a tree and terribly emaciated. Luckily, she has survived & is on the mend. Annie was rescued at a mere 33 lbs, but is steadily gaining weight. At a healthy weigh she will likely reach 50-55 lbs. Besides being severely underweight, Annie was shot several times with a BB gun, leaving 2 BB's lodged in her hind leg, and she is Heartworm positive (for which Pit Crew will provide treatment once she is healthy enough to withstand the regimine). Her heartworm positive status has caused her to be anemic, which will resolve itself as she heals.
PCPBR is fundraising to raise the $2,500 needed to cover Annie Oakley's medical expenses Please Donate to Help Cover the Vet Expenses!
